The Gracie Tote is a pattern that combines techniques to get the most out of your overlocker. The 2 1/2″ strips are sewn together using alternate rows of Rolled Hem and Flatlock. This highlights some of the functions that an overlocker can do, other than just the neatening of seams. Both look amazing in the heavy Pearl Thread but can be sewn in a normal weight sewing thread. The fabric in the sample are all different colours, straight out of a jelly roll but it can look just as stunning in only two or three contrasting colours. If you have an overlocker, this is a must do tote!!
