Prairie Points can be made for many applications and any size. This technique is just one that is a little different to the norm. The effective appearance on the front of the tote is not the only use. With the thickness of the folded fabrics and quilted panels, the technique really lends itself to make placemats, table runners or cushions. Simply follow the instructions for the bag front, adjusting the size to suit your needs. Quilt a backing fabric on the back and binding around the edge and you can make a whole matching set to suit your decor.
